Pasture Raised Turkeys

Turkeys are raised like the meat type chickens on pasture with a range shelter and fenced in range area. They are busy grazing the pasture during the day and secured in their shelter at night. They are fed a grain feed without antibiotics.
They are processed by us on the farm and are available fresh
the weekend before Thanksgiving.
The size of turkeys vary year by year and but usually range from 15-20 pounds with the average around 18 pounds. Due to the nature of raising turkeys on pasture they grow at different rates due to variations in weather and pasture. This is not something we can predict nor control. It is how it naturally happens when raising turkeys on pasture.
Pasture Raised Turkeys are a delight to the taste buds. Tender, moist and oh so flavorful. Guest rave it was the best turkey they have ever had!
In the past we attempted to match people up with a requested size range of bird. We are no longer able to do this. If you are expecting a large gathering we recommend you order 2 turkeys. Leftovers are a great thing or you can always freeze one for a later holiday like Christmas or Easter dinner! We have new packaging this year, a shrinkwrap bag that prevents freezer burn.
Pickup is the usually the Sunday and Monday before Thanksgiving.
Pre-order early as we raise a limited amount of turkeys.
They are processed by us here on the farm, chilled and packaged with giblets included.
A $20 non-refundable deposit is required at ordering.
Turkey Weights in the past have averaged 15-20 pounds.
Pricing is $3.85 per pound.
