PICKUP OPTIONS:

EARLY BIRD PICKUP WEEKEND

Saturday November 11th and Sunday November 12th
Time:   Noon-2pm
At the farm ONLY

if you pre-ordered online or in person with Farmer Tricia before 11/10/17
Pricing is $5.00 a pound for those that PRE-ORDER ONLINE or in person before 11/20/17.  Pre-orders also receive 5% discount on all other purchase that weekend.
Including CSA member purchases and any meat packs on offer or sale items- not including any turkey purchases.

Any purchases on the 11th and 12 that were NOT pre-ordered pricing is is $5.50 a pound.

Sizes often range from 12-25 pounds but we estimate this year that most turkeys will be the medium to large size so 18-25 pounds ESTIMATE ONLY.   They grow naturally and we can NOT determine sizes until we process them.  Turkeys do not just hop on the scale while in the pasture to get weighed in!

Size selection is on a first come basis ONLY for this Early Bird Pickup.   Please don't request we hold you a specific sized turkey- we are no longer able to do this for anyone.   If you are set on a small turkey under 15 pounds expect them to be larger than this.
All orders are for WHOLE TURKEYS.

CUT UP OPTIONS
In the past we have often offered some cut up options like halves or whole breasts ect....   To do this takes a large amount of time and expense for us to do this.   We are unsure if we will offer any this year.   If we do we will offer them on a first come basis.  Notice if made via website, facebook, instagram and email.

TURKEY DONATIONS

We donate 2 turkeys to a family and veteran in need in the community.   We'd also like to offer them to a not for profit we have worked with for years.

Clear Path for Veterans in Chittenango has been close to our hearts since we moved the farm here 6 years ago.  Tricia has been a volunteer in the Culinary Department for about 3 years.  They do a great job purchasing from local farms including ours.   We have a goal here at Creekside Meadows to supply 10 of our largest turkeys to Clear Path for their Free Thanksgiving Meal for Vets and their families.   This is a sizable project and we need help covering our cost to raise the turkeys.   You can be a sponsor and give us a hand.

Click HERE to sponsor at the $50, $100 or $250 level.

Thank you so much in advance.

We encourage you to pre-order your turkey to lock in your order.   There is no deposit required and no penalty to cancel your order!

How it works:

Fill out our form and submit it.  This puts you on our Gobbler Updates email list for updates on when turkeys are available.  It also gets you a 75 center per pound discount when  you pickup during our Early Bird Weekend and an additional 5% discount on any other non-turkey purchases on that Early Bird Weekend.   So Pre-order for the best options and savings when you come early!

ALL TURKEYS ARE RAISED ON THIS FARM ONLY and on prime growing pasture season.   All Turkeys are processed by us on the farm the end of October/Early November and briefly frozen shortly after that.   They are frozen in heavy mil shrink bags for a tidy look and good freezer packaging.  We no longer sell non-frozen turkeys.  Why are the frozen?  Simply because raising turkeys on pasture in November is hard on everything and everybody especially the turkeys when it snows and it snows here in November.   We also want to harvest them at their peak nutrition and taste from grazing growing grasses.   We have done this for the past 4 years and have found that a briefly frozen turkey actually seems to enhance the flavor and tenderness of them.

Our animals welfare while they are alive is more important to US than your perceived need for a never frozen turkey.

All orders are for WHOLE TURKEYS ONLY.
