We've been raising vegetables for our family for almost 30 years and that continues as we expand our gardens to supply our local customers at our farmstand.

OUR PRACTICES

Our vegetable, herb and flowers are offered at our Roadside Farmstand Seasonally from June-October.   We grow with no conventional fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides practicing sustainable and organic practices. 

We use our own farm made compost and cover crops to improve the soil and providing plants with balanced nutrients they need to produce our vegetables.  

We have chosen not to pursue organic certification at this time instead come meet us and see how we manage our market gardens.

The main harvest is available daily at our farmstand during the summer.    Availability varies with what is ready to pick that day for a truly seasonal farmstand experience.  We only sell what we've raised. We are not a huge farmstand but it’s growing every year becauase of local community support. It is not staffed and is operated on the honor system.

We grow all sorts of:  Flowers, herbs, carrots, lettuce, spinach, greens, swiss chard, radishes, summer squash, zucchini, potatoes, beans, tomatoes, peppers, sweet corn and so much more.   Our Sweet Corn has a devoted loyal following because we use non-gmo seed and no chemicals so the taste is outstanding.

We are working on expanding the farmstand so it can be open more of the year and weatherized. We are in need of a commerical refrigerator unit with glass doors if anyone has one to donate that is in good condition AND it doesn’t even have to work (we can install a coolbot cooling unit so no need for it to operate just needs to look good!)
